1.1) Advantage of booking with m-broker.com?

m-broker is arranging rental vehicles of car rental companies worldwide. Our brokerage service is free of charge. Even our hotline is free of charge within Germany. Our local partners put their prices and their contingents into our system. Besides we have special conditions with some of our partners. We bunch these prices to “all-inclusive” packages which you will find on our website. These packages always include unlimited mileage and full insurance cover. Apart from few exceptions on which we do not have any influence, all other fees like airport fee and local taxes are included in our prices.

1.2) Why do you have such low prices?

Our prices are that low because as an exclusive online-broker we can offer the low priced rental vehicles and, furthermore, we work very efficiently. Therefore, we can share the commissions of the rental car offices and also the advantage of bulk purchase with them.

1.3) What do I have to pay for your service?

Nothing. Every client can use our service free of charge. We live from the brokerage commission of the rental agencies.

2. Online booking of rental cars

2.1) What you should pay attention of

The most important thing in advance: Please read carefully the Terms of Hire of the selected car group before booking! Take your voucher and your credit card which must be issued on the main driver that you can pick up the vehicle!

2.2) Selecting city, date and time

If you want to reserve a rental car you normally know where and when you need it. On the first page of m-broker.com you first select the country and the city where you want to pick up the car. Then insert the pick up and return date. In case you have a discount code from m-broker.com please insert the code where it says "ok". Then click on “ok”.

Tips:

  • Rental prices are calculated per 24hours. The most economic booking is to pick up and return the car at the same time or return it earlier. If you return the car later than you picked it up an additional day will have to be paid.
  • Rather book earlier than later. There are no last minute prices in the field of rental cars. Early booking will guarantee you cheaper prices. There are always bargains but these cannot be planned.
  • Please note that the method of payment is only by credit card. You need your credit card as well to pick up the car. The credit card must be issued on the main driver. The credit card is a secure means of payment and is the only one accepted world wide.

2.3) Converting a coupon or discount-code

For some activities we emit coupons or discount codes. These codes are inserted on the first page where it says "code". The reduction by coupon will not be shown explicitly. You can proof the price reduction, however, by starting two booking requests, the one with the coupon and the other without. Then you can compare the prices.

2.4) Selecting the car group and see the Terms of Hire

On the second booking page you will see a list of the cheapest vehicles per category. Our best price system is comparing the prices of all our car rental partners and shows you the cheapest. Click on the points "car details" or "Terms of Hire" to see the conditions. Click on the button "ok" on the right side to continue with the booking.

Tips:

  • The vehicles shown are examples. Car models cannot be confirmed, only the car group and its features of equipment. A reserved Opel Corsa can as well be a Peugeot 206 or a Toyota Yaris. Unfortunately we do not have any influence on it.
  • f you are more than one driver or between 19 and 25 years old, please read the Terms of Hire very carefully. Sometimes you will find restrictions like minimum age and fees for additional drivers.

2.5) Inserting dates and reserving the car group

After the car selection you will be led to a SSL-secured booking form. First you select the pick up station. If you want to return the car at another station please also select the return station. In case you have already booked with m-broker.com and have a user name and password please insert these items on top of the page on the right- hand side and register yourself. If it is your first booking with m-broker.com or you have lost your password please provide us with all the information requested. Then click on the "ok" button to make the binding booking or check all your dates once again in the preview.

Tips:

  • If you want to return the car at another station than the pick up station you make a one way request. These bookings often demand for a request per e-mail or a call to our call centre in order to check the availability of the vehicle and the additional costs for the one way fee. We will answer to your request immediately.
  • Other bookings will also be set on request at first. This is concerning bookings e.g. special car categories, young drivers, child seats or vehicles preferred to be picked up out of normal office hours. We are dealing with this type of request all the time and will contact you as soon we have checked all the details.
  • We only accept credit cards which are a safe and uncomplicated means of payment. You get credit cards from your bank institute, partly free of charge.

2.6) Guarantee and cancellation

The cancellation fee amounts up to EUR 40.- if the cancellation has been done at least 24 hours before the pick up time. From 24 hours and less the cancellation fee amounts up to EUR 85.-. We recommend contracting a travel cancellation insurance amounting to EUR 4.50 per week. You can contract this travel cancellation insurance on the third booking page in the internet. 2.7) Security

Your data is safe. Our website is locked in the SSL modus (secure socket layer). This lock is watched and certificated by VeriSign. So all information will be transmitted in a locked way and nobody can find out which data you are sending to us via internet. Once the data is in our system they will, of course, not be transferred further. They will be called upon only by our service.

3. Method of payment, invoice and voucher

As soon as your reservation has been confirmed, your credit card will be charged with the outstanding amount. Besides, different types of documents will be sent to you by e-mail or fax, depending on your preference. In case you decided to receive the documents by e-mail you have to pay attention to the attachments. You can open them with Adobe PDF Reader and print them out. You normally receive an invoice.pdf and a voucher.pdf. These documents, partly in English, have a standardised format which will be understood by all car rental companies world wide. Thus you will manage without having to speak foreign languages.

Tips:

  • In case your booking is only a booking request you will receive a copy of your booking request (booking-request.pdf). Your credit card will only be charged at the time your booking has been confirmed.
  • The voucher is the method of payment. After showing the voucher to one of our local partners the vehicle will be handed out to you. So please print it out and take it with you.

4. Picking up the rental car and driving

Pack your suitcase and do not forget to take the voucher with you. This document is as important as your booking. Also think of your credit card as you need it to pick up the car. You will conclude a rental agreement with our local car rental company whose conditions you can see in our voucher and the invoice. The rental company keeps the “self participation in case of damage” in form of a deposit and will block this amount on your credit card. So your credit card will not be charged. If you bring back the car without any damage the amount of the deposit will be unblocked on your credit card.

Tips:

  • Do not contract any other insurance. These are already included in our rates.
  • The self participation in case of damage will be refunded by us after sending us the official police report. The police report is absolutely necessary because without this document we may not refund anything.

5. Returning the rental car

In some countries you must “buy” the first full tank from the rental company. This money will not be refunded. In this case return the car with an empty tank if possible. When the control lamp of the tank is blinking for the first time you normally can drive up to 50 km more. After returning the car, the contract will be fulfilled.

  • Take all your possessions and check all compartments.
